Local chapter hosted event in Stevens Park Oct. 14, 2023, to raise awareness for Alzheimer's and dementia in Garden City, Kansas. Participants included teams and individuals who've spent the last several months collecting donations for the cause, donations can still be made through the end of the year.

FLOWER CEREMONY: ORANGE

I walk in support of the vision of a world without Alzheimer's.

FLOWER CEREMONY: YELLOW

I walk because I care for someone with Alzheimer's.

FLOWER CEREMONY: BLUE

I walk because I'm living with Alzheimer's or dementia.


FLOWER CEREMONY: WHITE

The white flower symbolizes a future cure for Alzheimer's.
